This page has been created to offer you resources on the many options available for you to carry business insurance for your practice. There seems to be a trend taking place where venues may require you to have this insurance in order to participate in events which is why we created this list. However, after conducting this research I’ve found that having a policy in place to protect you and your practice is a sound business decision and one that should be considered thoughtfully.
This list is a resource and you’ll need to do your due diligence and research your options to determine which one is best for you and your practice. We’ll make an effort to keep this page updated, however, it is up to you to verify the information we have provided here.
There are quite a few places that offer general liability insurance to energy and body workers. There are fewer who offer the general liability insurance for readers. From the research we conducted, aromatherapists and herbalist and anyone else who prescribes medicinal advice, need a specific type of policy so we have listed a resource at the end of this list for those practitioners.
I have found that having general liability insurance with a coverage of $1,000,000 for a single event is sufficient for most venues.
Massage Magazine Insurance $159 year
They do not cover readers specifically, however, many readers are also Reiki practitioners which is covered.
The policy does have coverage for readers. This insurance policy also comes with an annual membership that is included with the price. Check out the website for all the details.
You must join the Professional category for $149 a year and the insurance plans start at $125 year
This policy does have coverage for readers. You join the association for $100 year and the insurance plan is $150 year. This is a similar insurance plan that is offered through Energy Medicine Practitioners Association and they are the same price. You’ll just need to find out which association is a better fit for you.
This is an association that offers insurance plans. They do have coverage for readers. The association costs $69 per year and you must be a member to have the insurance plan. I have not researched the cost of the insurance yet so I will update this as soon as I have found the information.
This site offers you many options for various modalities. They have links and resources for you to research. I chose to add this one for the aromatherapists, nutritionists and herbalists as these modalities are listed on this site.
This insurance plan does have an add on policy for products, if that is something you’ve been looking for.
And for those of you who are artists or crafters and are looking for insurance for just one event or for an annual policy here is a good resource for you.
